01 / WHAT HAPPENS HERE

From first take to final master.

The studio covers the core stages of music and voice production, with enough flexibility to handle a full project or step into only the stage you need.

01

Recording

Music and vocal tracking with a broad microphone selection, high-end preamps and an experienced engineering workflow.

02

Mixing

Levels, EQ, dynamics, space, effects, editing and detailed mix decisions that turn individual tracks into one record.

03

Mastering

Final tonal and dynamic processing for singles, EPs and albums — including material recorded or mixed elsewhere.

04

Voice-over

Professional voice recording for commercials, videos, podcasts and informational projects.

05

Editing + production

Timing refinement, pitch correction, arrangement support and production help where the project needs it.

06

Remote mix + master

Send in existing sessions or stereo mixes and finish the project without needing to record on site.

02 / IN THE ROOM

Sound is physical.

Recording is hands-on work: microphones, performances, faders, decisions, revisions and hundreds of small details that finally disappear into the music.

03 / THE ROOM

Built twice. Better the second time.

Audiohouse was built in 2016 after the 2013 Alberta flood destroyed Grant Howarth’s previous studio, The Outhouse, which had operated since 2003. The current studio was professionally designed by Australian studio designer John Sayers and built by Grant.
